What I do

Golf strength & conditioning.

Training built around the golf swing, so you can hit it well, stay injury-free and keep playing for years.

Good golf training is not just lifting weights. It builds the strength, power, mobility and control the swing needs, matched to how you move and what your game demands.

I hold TPI Fitness Level 2 and ASCA Level 1 strength and conditioning qualifications, and I train golfers at Links Health & Performance through the LinksPRO program. It is the same approach I use on myself. You can see my own plan on My training.

Who it is for

  • Weekend golfers who want to hit it further with less strain
  • Golfers coming back from injury
  • Older golfers who want to keep playing for as long as possible
  • Aspiring professionals who need their body to stop being the limit

In practice

What it builds

Four things the swing depends on.

1

Strength

A strong base, especially through the legs and trunk.

2

Power

The ability to produce force quickly and in sequence.

3

Mobility

Enough movement in the hips, mid-back and shoulders to swing freely.

4

Control

Balance and stability so the swing holds up late in a round.

Ways to train

Where you can train with me.

  • LinksPRO: high performance golf fitness training
  • Golf fitness classes: small-group sessions
