Questions
Common questions.
Short answers about how I work. For anything else, send me an email.
What does a golf osteopath do?
I assess how you move and treat the muscles and joints that are sore or restricted, with the golf swing in mind. I also explain what I find and suggest exercises to do between visits.
Where do you practise?
I practise at Links Health & Performance, 2/10 Cromer Road, Cromer NSW 2099. You can find directions on the Where to find me page.
How do I book?
Bookings are made through the Links website: book an appointment. You can also contact Links directly.
Do I need to be injured to see you?
No. Some golfers come in with pain, and others come to move better or to plan their training. Either is fine.
Can you help me hit the ball further?
Strength, power and mobility can all affect how well you swing. I will look at what is limiting you and build training around it. I do not teach swing technique. That is a job for your golf coach.
Is the training plan on your site one I can follow?
It is my own plan, shared as an example. Your program should be built around your own assessment, history and goals.
Do you work with golf coaches?
Yes. I am working with coaches on my own game, and you can read about that on My coaching.
How should I warm up before a round?
Get your body warm first, then work through movement before stretching. I am putting a warm-up and mobility guide together. In the meantime, the stretching and mobility list on My training shows what I do.
